A RAM clean brings the usage down to 100MB or so. I'm also noting high RAM usage after the program boots up - say 1.5GB which is weird with so little in the program set up. ![]() I've got still got v27.2.4 installed separately on this machine and it does not have any issues whatsoever. ![]() stopping the Geforce Experience overlay ![]() running SFC /scannow to fix any underlying issues deleted most other "OBS" folders on my PC (excluding below) uninstalling and reinstalling my NVIDIA GFX driver (including a clean install of the latest Gaming Ready driver) Hovering the mouse over the OBS Window then over another unrelated window is enough to lock it up, or even just moving the mouse from the Controls buttons to the menu bar. Since installing v28, OBS just keeps locking up - and I have barely had a chance to set anything up. I'm not an expert OBS user but I know enough about Windows to get by.
